Pandemic Board Game Review
In Pandemic, the cooperative game, several viruses are spreading simultaneously all over the globe. You and your friends are specialists working to eradicate the virus. Your mission is to treat outbreak areas of the disease and research cures for each of four plagues before they get out of control.
The game board represents several major population zones on Earth. On each turn, you can use up to four actions to travel between cities, treat infected areas, discover a cure, or build a research station. You will draw cards that will add to your abilities. However, if you pick an Epidemic! card, it will accelerate and intensify the spread of the diseases.
You and your friends must plan your strategy such that you are leveraging on each other’s strengths. If one or more diseases spreads beyond recovery, you and your team lose. If you cure the four diseases, you all win!
