Sheriff of Nottingham board game review
You take on the role of a merchant trying to make quick profits by selling goods in the bustling city. However, you must get your goods through the city gate, which is monitored by the Sheriff of Nottingham. You can choose to play it safe by selling legal goods or risk it all by selling highly profitable black market goods. Be careful, if the Sheriff catches you, he will confiscate those goods for himself!
In Sheriff of Nottingham, players will not only be merchants but also take turns to be the Sheriff. Players secretly store goods in their sack declare goods they wish to bring into the city. The Sheriff then decides who gets into the city, who to inspect, and who to have their goods taken away.
Can you pretend to be an honest merchant? <ake a deal with the Sheriff to let you in? Or persuade the Sheriff to target another player?
