What is the goal of Tic and Tac Toe darts?
The dart board is divided into a Tic Tac Toe grid. A Tic Tac Toe score sheet is set up for each player and the main game. To cross out a grid on the main game’s scoresheet, players need to hit the corresponding section on the dart board three times. To win, cross out 3 grids in a row on the main scoresheet.

Draw up a tic-tac-toe score grid for each player and for the main game. You will need to hit the corresponding sections as shown in the image.
Step by Step How to Play Tic Tac Toe Darts Rules
Step-by-step Tic Tac Toe game instructions. Determine which player goes first by tossing a coin or throwing a dart each and whoever is closest to the bullseye. Decide if you are an X or O. Players hit the dart board numbers shown on their Tic Tac Toe scoresheet and attempt to cross them out. When crossed out, they mark the corresponding main scoresheet grid with an X or O. Get 3 Xs or Os in a row to win.
Close a number on your Tic Tac Toe darts scoresheet
For an X or O to appear on the main game scoresheet, you must first close a number on your Tic Tac Toe darts scoresheet. You get 3 throws each turn and do this by hitting the number 3 times. Track your hits by marking them on your scoresheet. For example, if you hit 12 2 times on your 1st turn, mark it on your scoresheet. If you hit 12 again on your next turn, cross it out and put your X or O on the main scoresheet.
Counting of Singles, Doubles and Trebles
When you hit the single segment, it counts as one hit, doubles as two, and trebles as three.
How to win in Tic Tac Toe Darts?
Like the actual Tic Tac Toe game, you need to close out the relevant number segments on your scoresheet to mark 3 corresponding “X”s or “O”s in a row. The game can end in a draw. If you tie, restart your game.
