Small World Board Game Review

In the Small World board game, you and your friends seek to conquer and control a world that is too small to accommodate them all.

Small World contains a quirky cast of characters such as dwarves, wizards, amazons, giants, orcs, and humans. These characters will use their troops to take control of territory and conquer adjacent lands in order to push the other races out of the world.small world board gamesmall world board game

small world board gameYou will need to select the right combination from the 14 unique character races and 20 unique special powers. You will try to expand your empire – at the expense of weaker players. However, you need to balance between conquering too much and over-extending yourself and pushing ahead into victory!

On each turn, players choose to use the multiple tiles of their chosen race to conquer neighbouring territories – or letting your race go “into decline”.

At the end of your turn, players score one point (coin) for each territory they occupy. You may have one active race and one race in decline at the same time. The number of territories a player occupies will depend on the special abilities of their race and the territories they occupy. After the final round, the player with the most coins wins.
