In Underwater Cities, players compete to establish the best and most liveable underwater areas possible. Through science, production and politics, players develop the cities of the sea floor.
The main feature of the game is card placement and ideally players place cards into slots of the same colour and then they can take both actions and advantages which allows them to intake raw materials, build and upgrade city domes, tunnels and production buildings such as farms and laboratories in their personal underwater area.
This game takes about 30 – 45 minutes per player.
